    Repaints of the low-poly SD77, SD80, SD85, D86 and E2H83 static vehicles (scenery items) in the 1986 South Yorkshire's Transport deregulation livery of brown, red and cameo cream.

    This repaint pack was developed for the excellent Bowdenham Map by Dazza1980 (http://aussiex.org/f...2342-bowdenham/) to enable the Apsley Depot to be properly populated with SYT vehicles. Have fun!

  21. Sheaf Line MAN NL202

    Repaint of the MAN NL202 in Sheaf Line livery.

    Following bus de-regulation in 1986, and in a bid to cut financial losses, South Yorkshire's Transport subsequently closed East Bank Garage in Sheffield in 1988. Following the closure, a group of former SYT drivers set-up Sheaf Line in September 1988 to compete on services with SYT. The new company was based in the former Tinsley Tram Sheds. Sheaf Line remained independent only until December 1989 when the operation was acquired (along with a handful of other independents) by SYT, who maintained the Sheaf Line trading name as a "low cost" operation. Sheaf Line was eventually absorbed into the Mainline fleet following the sale of Mainline Group Limited (the new SYT trading company name) to it's employees in 1993.

    This Sheaf Line repaint is based on the SYT (early 1990's) ownership period.

    This repaint requires "MAN NL202 v0.99" to be installed.

  22. Yorkshire Terrier MAN NL202

    Repaint of the MAN NL202 in Yorkshire Terrier livery.

    Following bus de-regulation in 1986, and in a bid to cut financial losses, South Yorkshire's Transport subsequently closed East Bank Garage in Sheffield in 1988. Following the closure, a group of former SYT managers decided to leave SYT and set-up their own bus operation. This new company was called "Yorkshire Terrier" and started operating in August 1988, initially using a fleet of aging Leyland Nationals. Yorkshire Terrier remained independent until May 1995 when the operation was acquired by Yorkshire Traction, who later merged it's then Andrews Sheffield Omnibus fleet under the Yorkshire Terrier trading name. The Yorkshire Terrier operation in Sheffield is now Stagecoach Sheffield following the acquisition of the entire Yorkshire Traction Group by Stagecoach in December 2005.

    This Yorkshire Terrier repaint is based on the pre-Yorkshire Traction ownership period.
