The Antonov An-225 Mriya (Dream) was a strategic airlift cargo aircraft designed in the 1980s by the Antonov
Design Bureau in the Soviet Union. It was designed to airlift the Energia rocket's boosters and the Buran-class
orbiters for the MAKC (Multipurpose Aerospace System) space program, and only one example was ever completed.
After successfully fulfilling its military missions, the aircraft was mothballed for eight years.
It was then refurbished and reintroduced into commercial operation with Antonov Airlines since 3 January 2002,
until 24 February 2022,carrying oversized payloads.
The airlifter holds the absolute world record for an airlifted single-item payload of 189,980 kg (418,830 lb),
and an airlifted total payload of 253,820 kg (559,580 lb).It also transported a payload of 247,000 kg (545,000 lb)
on a commercial flight.Only one aircraft was completed and it flew commercially.
The loads carried on the back of the aircraft are:
- Buran orbiter,
- MAKC-OS Version with the orbital plane and the external  fuel tank (Molniya),
- External Tank, carried liquid oxygen, kerosene, and liquid hydrogen propellants,
- MAKC-T,Russian winged orbital launch vehicle. All cargo version of MAKS.Air-launched would use an expendable
second stage with a payload container,
- British Aerospace HOTOL (Horizontal Take-Off and Landing),unmanned, fully reusable single-stage-to-orbit (SSTO)
    winged spaceplane.
These objects are included in the Exterior Payload selection options in this add-on.
The plane and its systems are reconstructed on the basis of Antonov's documentation.Operation of the aircraft's
systems is also based on Antonov's documentation for this aircraft systems can be started manually--
for hardcore virtual-pilots as reading the manual is required in this mode ;-) ,however, systems can also be turned
on in automatic mode-for people who just want to fly the largest plane in the world- just press SHIFT+1 and turn
on/off selected systems (electrics, engines, etc.),or turn everything on and fly ;-).
Note for fans of "flexible wings" - this plane has very stiff and thick wings that do not swinglike a pigeon or B787,
but float at the right speed on the ground during take-off  ;-).
The aircraft cockpit can be switched between Russian-default (metric units-meters,kilometers) and English-
fully translated (imperial units-feet,inches) with one click in the Configorator (SHIFT+1).

In this package Antonov An-225 Mriya in two painting schemes:
-Russian painting scheme,
-Ukrainian painting scheme,

 Advanced simulation of avionics systems.
High quality 4k-textures (contains PBR materials).
High quality 3D cockpit with 4k-textures (no 2D cockpit).
Exterior Model and Virtual Cockpit are very detailed and animated (around 500 thousand vertices).
Ilustrated user manual in pdf format (in ...SimObjectsAirplanesAntonov AN-225 folder).
 High quality soundset.
All gauges are based on real ones.

Update: With how buggy the default P3D flight plan system is and it sometimes pointing you to 0, 0, I can't recommend it for point A-B flights, hence why I am dropping it to 3 stars. If this had a better navigation system, I would give it a 5 star review.

Really nice to fly and probably the best $25 I've ever spent on flight sim. Some switches are grouped up but that's to be expected for a $25 addon. My only gripe with it is that it uses the default P3D flight plan menu/system so flying this on VATSIM is pretty hard unless you install a FMC 2d panel like the freeware one by Garrett Smith (the Honeywell one). A fuel planner would be nice along with a Simbrief/PFPX profile.

FLYFREESTD did a great job in modelling the Antonov AN-225. For 30,00 € you can't complain either, as most sceneries cost the same price. If you want some improved navigation gauges, you can implement the RXP GTN 750, as you have full Sids/Stars/Holding procedures then. The textures are high quality, and the autopilot is also simulated quite nicely. The plane follows the waypoints without any issues, even when using the GTN 750. A few things like the sound or the handling of some switches has to be improved, but all in all I can recommend it to everyone who wants a huge soviet cargo plane.

+ not expensive
+ visual part is excellent
+ animated nose lift and door opening
+ there is a smoke effect at maximum thrust modes
+ good headlight illumination at night
+ good quality simulation of the cockpit
+ performs a flight route (vor, dme, glide all works and shows)
+ it feels the difference on the takeoff and run-up depending on the weight
+ clickable by 70% - most of the overhead, engineer, electrician and navigator panels.
+ supports acceleration *2 and *4

- some of the buttons are activated in groups instead of one and there is no possibility to click every switch, so I consider this a minus
- has difficulties to gain an echelon of 310 without a difference empty or loaded, flights performed at an altitude of 7-8 km
- fuel system worked out conditionally - if there is a full tank, all turns of fuel pumps automatically turn on when exhaust is turned off automatically if conditionally 50 tons, only 1 queue, saying "tank" I did not misspell it here has one tank
- not convenient location gps monitor and the lack of 2d window (had to prescribe the default gps to track the route
- not nice effects of lights and headlights on
- absence of flood lights
- crumpled up engine start and stop sound and broken gpws system (maybe i couldn't find where to turn it on)
- Loading through the airplane configurator has no effect on the weight!
Hopefully there will be updates.

I am really disappointed, that model does not include any custom navigation system, just a sim flight plan ( default GPS ) Model quality is good.

Delightful. I wish FlyFreeStd would do this aircraft for MSFS too in the future. ????????

A beautiful, very accurately reproduced plane.
The systems work as you can see in the videos on the internet. The flight model seems to be very well made, you have to be careful with the choice of airport, because a fully loaded plane actually needs more than two kilometers of runway, and landing with cargo is about three kilometers. There is a huge difference in the behavior of an empty versus a fully loaded aircraft.
Starting systems and engines is a lot of manual learning, fortunately there is an option to auto-start systems and engines, especially starting the various systems of the aircraft is very satisfying. An additional advantage is the ability to switch to the cockpit mode in English (Russian by default),you can do it at any time in the pop-up Configurator (SHIFT + 1).
In particular, the autopilot is very complex and works differently than in Western airplanes, but after turning on the English cockpit,it can be managed.Interestingly, after a closer look at the autopilot,it turns out that it has a lot of different functions that make flying easier,e.g.the plane can make 90-degree turns by itself,or circle non-stop.
The plane carries several loads on its back,I liked the Molniya mini-shuttle the most.
The sound of the engines is also polished, especially the roar of the engines at high revs and when starting. The plane's volume is adjusted so that it is the first plane where I did not have to silence the game to a minimum so as not to go deaf.

AD HOC SIMULATIONS - AEROSOFT A330 PROFESSIONAL SOUNDPACK P3D4-5
Trevor
This pack is not worth the 15€. More like 3€ in my opinion. "Engine sound adjustments", I hear no difference between the default A330 sounds and this pack. When I look into the SimObjects folder which you need to drag and drop and replace it into the Aerosoft folder, there are no engine soundfiles in there. Knobs and other stuff sounds fine. Also the engines don't fade out with the rising altitude (same with the default sounds in the AS A330). I don't know the limitations but if it were possible this could have been fixed aswell for this price.
JUSTFLIGHT - STEAM GAUGE OVERHAUL – ANALOG KING AIR MSFS

Each and every knob dial or switch works (including circuit breakers). The electrical and fuel system are recreated in detail. Engine wear and tear is modeled, so it will eventually fail - if not properly taken care of. The flight model was enhanced (not sure, how much). I always liked the KingAir, and now I absolutely love it! Whenever I don‘t feel like firing up the PMDG 737, I now use the KingAir instead. IMO, the most „study level“ aircraft in it‘s class at the moment. High-
ly recommended!

Finally thank you for taking the time and effort for making a highly detailed scenery for Myanmar. If you could also do Mandalay that would be a great plus too thank you!
TURBINE SOUND STUDIOS - PIPER CUB CONTINENTAL 65 SOUNDPACK FSX

This is a well-crafted array of the sounds that the (very) old Continental 65hp engine - mounted in any number of very old airplanes from the era before or during World War II. That includes the old Piper J-3 Cub, of course, but also many Taylorcraft planes of the era, especially including the L-4 Grasshopper, which was manufactured more by Taylorcraft than by Piper, and the BC-12D, the side-by-side 2 passenger aircraft of the same period. For anybody who learned to fly on these very economical airplanes in the sixties or even seventies, the MSFS simulations of these old aircraft are far more evocative of the actual feel of these planes with the authentic sounds, than without. To feel that the Cessna 152 engine is close enough is to miss the whole experience - of Ceconite-covere-
d wings, tenuous, unreliable engines with nowhere-nearly--
enough power (that's why we called them "gutless wonders". In the simulations of the J3 and the L4, they have the wire-stuck-in-a-
-cork-float fuel gauge, extending up through the hole drilled through the gas cap (about 6 inches in front of the canopy glass). Once you hear the sounds, you will understand what an iffy proposition is was to fly these old aircraft, and why all of us who did are very fortunate if we are alive still today. Thank-
s, SimMarket, for putting these sounds together for us. It must have been fun!
LUSHODEV - SCAR - CHACALLUTA INT. AIRPORT V2 MSFS

I do not mind airport interior modelling, in fact I like it quite a bit IF it can be seen when being out at parked aircraft. This scenery however has put way too much emphasis on the interior while neglecting the rest of the airport. The main terminal building is superb, no question about it. However, detail elsewhere is rather scarce and sterile looking in places, and there are plenty of flat objects visible on the aerial imagery all around the airport. Modelling capacity should have been used there instead of areas inside the terminal building invisible from parked aircraft. Also I wish developers would stop doing these low-quality red markings on aprons which are extremely oversaturated to a point where they look sterile and artificial. -
3 solid stars for the good modelling effort on the terminal! Though I want to point out that the rest of the airport is important too.

Great sounds and flight model, and the detailing is phenomenal. The Merlin engine looks amazing when you remove the cover and the EFB is a nice touch as well.

I have been waiting for a long time and finally! Excellent quality and scenery is very realistic. also pbr painting very well. Perfect timing with the World Cup. just a few little buildings are missing... g-
enerally very nice job with the airport. I recommend it
MXI DESIGN - OTHH DOHA HAMAD INT AIRPORT MSFS

The airport itself, the textures and even the brand new expansion area are all stunning! AI traffic is working fine, except a few ground vehicles going into the runways. For now, 1 missing star for the following reasons: - Various objects here and there are missing (fences in various parts of the airport, rocks around coasts, little bushes implementation, ILS antennas, Glidescopes, radars, guard lights,...); i also did notice a few buildings type were missing too; - The tire marking does need a little fixing too in some areas, especially at the beginning of the runways; - Overall performances are good around the entire airport, but things are not well optimized only when going closer to the main terminal (the issue could be caused by the animated train inside, or some of the jetways); - Jetways for the Emiri terminal are missing; - A Doha skyline implementation would be appreciated as well! I will change my stars rating to 5/5 if any of this is going to be fixed/improved. Btw, i will say it again. Congratulations-
, nice work! Looking forward for an update! :)
